A decent natural testosterone booster will be safe, rigorously tested, and highly effective. And there are some brilliant supplements that tick all these boxes. Our Testosil Review determines whether or not this natural supplement is up to the competition!

It’s tough to struggle with low testosterone levels. It can make you weak, depressed, anxious; it can ruin your body composition and broader physical health.

On the other hand, keeping your testosterone levels optimal – around the 30-35 nmol/L point – can bring a great many benefits, undoing these health concerns and making you feel your best.

There are plenty of things you can do as a man to optimize your testosterone levels, which I’ll be going into more detail later on.

Supplements have their role to play. I’ve personally had plenty of success using testosterone boosting supplements over the past few years (my testosterone levels are at their healthiest right now, in large part because of them).

And if you’re going to use a testosterone booster, Testosil is a pretty decent option.

Quick Verdict: Testosil

Testosil Bottle

Testosil is a prime example of its type. It’s a solid testosterone booster that ticks all the right boxes, including pretty much everything in its formula that you would ever need for optimal testosterone output.

Of course, it won’t do all the work for you – you’ll need to gear your diet and lifestyle towards heightened natural testosterone output for the best results.

Supplementation will be a part of this, and Testosil is a very good option.

What is Testosil?

Testosil Bottle

Testosil is a pretty classic testosterone booster – a dietary supplement that claims to enhance testosterone levels in men.

It’s important to understand, however, that over-the-counter, natural testosterone boosters such as Testosil are not an exogenous testosterone source. It doesn’t put testosterone into your body.

Rather, its ingredients support your body’s natural testosterone output within a healthy range, helping it to get to the top of that range.

And this is incredibly important.

Testosterone is a hormone predominantly found in men, though women create and use it in smaller amounts. It plays a crucial role in plenty of bodily processes, including muscle development, bone strength, libido, and mood regulation.

However, testosterone levels tend to decline as men age, leading to potential problems like decreased muscle mass, fatigue, reduced libido, and even depression.

T-levels can also be impaired by environmental concerns – poor diet, poor body composition (excess fat, not enough muscle, broadly speaking), high stress levels, lack of sleep, too much alcohol… all the unhealthy things, in short.

Some men simply produce less testosterone naturally than others.

Testosil is made in part to overcome all of this. It comes packed plenty of the kinds of natural ingredients you will typically see recurring in top-shelf testosterone boosters, all believed with some justification to support healthy testosterone production.

Like any dietary supplement, Testosil should not be seen as a magic solution. It isn’t. As above, it’s not an exogenous source of testosterone.

In fact, it likely won’t work in isolation – or, at least, the benefits will be minimal. Rather, you’ll need a decent lifestyle overhaul, taking into account the factors mentioned above.

You should begin to build a healthy diet that incorporates nutrient rich foods, with plenty of complex carbohydrates, lean protein sources, and healthy fats.

Engaging in regular physical activity, particularly strength training or resistance training forms like weightlifting, will also go an incredibly long way towards boosting testosterone levels. These will also help you to keep your body fat levels down and your lean body mass levels up (muscle mass, crucially), which in turn will lead to improved natural testosterone output.

Adequate sleep is crucial for hormone regulation, including testosterone production. Aim for around 7-9 hours per night. It will also help you to adapt after training, meaning greater muscle mass, compounding the hormonal benefits from resistance training.

Manage stress, too. This has been a gamechanger for me. Chronic stress can devastate your testosterone output. Try stress-relieving activities like meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises (all of which I’ve used to great effect), and take part in hobbies you enjoy.

Doing so can aid in stress reduction and support healthy testosterone production. This will get you into a virtuous cycle – lowering stress will grow natural testosterone output. Higher testosterone levels will lead to lower stress levels. And so on.

Get these all in place. This kind of lifestyle shift is the most important aspect of maintaining hormonal health, of optimizing your testosterone output.

Then, with all of this done, you’re ready for a natural testosterone booster, which will be the icing on the cake. It will give you those last few nmol/L, and may well help you to break out of any vicious cycle, reconfiguring it to a virtuous one.

Testosil is a decent option.

The benefits of taking it

So how does Testosil play its part here? And what benefits will it really offer?

Well, simply, think of the downsides of low testosterone and invert them – this is what natural testosterone boosters like Testosil can do for you. For instance, you will likely see improved energy levels as you optimize your testosterone levels using Testosil.

I had suboptimal testosterone levels for a long time without realizing it. When I found out and began working on it, using supplements like Testosil as well as the lifestyle changes mentioned above, my energy levels soared – despite (or indeed, because of) the hard training I was doing.

To this end, Testosil may help you to feel more alert, focused, and ready to tackle anything.

You’ll also see greater strength and hypertrophy potential with your testosterone levels optimized. Testosterone plays a critical role in muscle development and maintenance. Honestly, you won’t be able to elicit hypertrophy (muscle growth) without your testosterone levels being where they need to be. It just won’t happen.

However, bolster your natural output, and you’ll see muscle mass developing far more easily when diet and stimulus are right, and you’ll see far greater strength in the gym.

This should come hand in hand with improved athletic performance more generally, as testosterone can affect endurance, recovery, and drive. Testosil should therefore help you to become a better athlete, making the progress you want.

Testosterone is also vital for libido and sexual performance. It can help to improve sexual desire whilst helping you to overcome erectile dysfunction and similar symptoms.

This is in part due to its effect on your mood. Optimized testosterone levels are linked to better mood regulation. I’ve certainly been both calmer and less depressed since taking my levels seriously, optimizing them.

You too should see feelings of irritability, anxiety, or depression dropping as you better optimize your own levels, giving you a far more positive outlook and mental state. The drive mentioned above is also a big part of this – say goodbye to apathy, which used to get to me really quite badly.

Testosterone is essential for maintaining optimal bone density and strength. Using a decent testosterone booster like Testosil can therefore lead to improved bone health, reducing the risk of osteoporosis and other bone-related issues.

This list is far from exhaustive. There are more benefits to be gained. However, these are the most common and arguably the most profound benefits on offer.

Some of them, particularly improved mood and athleticism, have been exceptionally important to my own health journey, and have come in no small part from natural testosterone boosters like Testosil.

Do note, however, that this is all about optimizing already healthy levels. This means anything from 10-35 nmol/L (though I personally argue that anything in the low teens should also be considered unhealthy).

If your levels are below this range, you will likely need medical intervention in conjunction with an endocrinologist. Treatment will likely include exogenous testosterone, making natural testosterone boosters far less vital to your overall health and wellbeing.

If you’re struggling with any of the symptoms of low testosterone levels, you should have a chat with your healthcare provider, who will be able to run all relevant tests.

Testosil Ingredients Label

How does Testosil manage these benefits?

Quite simply, by blending a range of well-known ingredients, the likes of which you’ll see cropping up time and time again in top testosterone boosters’ formulas. Old trusties mix and mingle to give you some solid results.

It all begins with ashwagandha, one of my personal favorite supplement ingredients.

Specifically, Testosil uses KSM-66, a highly potent, clinically proven extract derived from the ashwagandha root.

KSM-66 has been extensively researched and shown to have numerous benefits, including increased testosterone levels, improved strength and muscle size, and reduced levels of the stress hormone cortisol (the so called ‘stress hormone’).

Everything you need for a good testosterone booster to build upon, basically. It’s a good start.

You will also see Fenugreek in plenty of testosterone boosters – I like to see it any that I’m about to try out, so was happy to see it included in Testosil. Again, it’s been shown to support higher testosterone output, whilst also balancing estrogen levels.

Estrogen is known as the ‘feminizing’ hormone, and maintaining a healthy balance between testosterone and estrogen is important for optimal hormone function. Again, it’s a great choice.

Testosil uses ZMA, too, which I’d never heard of. Is it some form of new or exotic ingredient, rarified and promising miracles? Well, no, but it’s solid.

Basically, it’s just a combination of Zinc, Magnesium, and Vitamin B6. This is good – again, I like to see all of these, especially zinc, showing up in any testosterone booster.

Zinc is crucial (crucial, crucial – extra, extra crucial!) for testosterone synthesis and plays a vital role in maintaining reproductive health.

Magnesium supports muscle growth, recovery, and overall performance.

Vitamin B6 is involved in regulating hormone activity and supports the production of testosterone.

All taken together, as ZMA or not (most supplements use them just as they are…), they should go a long way towards supporting improved testosterone output.

Then there is D-Aspartic Acid (D-AA), an amino acid without which I would find any supposedly reputable natural testosterone booster suspect – or, at least, deficient. It’s found naturally in the body, though often in suboptimal levels, and is responsible for synthesizing testosterone.

D-AA supplementation has been shown to increase testosterone levels, giving us all the benefits we’re looking for from a good testosterone booster.

This is the meat of it all, the stuff that gets stuff done. However, it’s not the end of the list. Testosil also contains other natural extracts and vitamins that contribute to its efficacy.

L-Arginine HCL, an amino acid, has been shown to improve blood flow, boost exercise performance, and support healthy testosterone levels.

Panax Ginseng, which I always like to see in supplements like Testosil, is an adaptogenic herb that helps the body adapt to stress, improve endurance, and enhance overall energy levels.

Allium Sativa (that’s garlic, to you and me) has various health benefits, including potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, which can support overall wellbeing.

I’m never too fussed about this – I cook mostly Mediterranean, with a heavy bias for garlic, so I doubt I’ve ever been deficient in my life. But still, it’s potentially a nice touch.

Finally, you get a couple of extra vitamins: Calcium D-Pantothenate, a B5 derivative that supports hormone synthesis and improved energy metabolism; and Vitamin D3, known as the ‘sunshine vitamin’, which is essential for overall health and plays a role in testosterone production.

I like to see Vitamin D in my supplements – I live in Scotland, so it’s kind of hard to get enough from the vanishingly rare sunny days we get over here.

Finally, Testosil has added a patented absorption enhancer called AstraGin, which contains Panax Notoginseng and Astralagus combined. This combination has been proven to escalate the effectiveness of Testosil, putting all ingredients to maximum efficacy.

It’s a solid formula, and I like it a lot.

Honestly, Testosil’s ingredients list is about as good an example of its type as I’ve ever seen for a testosterone booster.

It could do more, of course. Any supplement could. But it should do everything you need it to – it should lead to much greater natural testosterone output. This should in turn bring about a series of benefits that, without hyperbole, can change your life.

I really would encourage you to give it a go.
